Customs agent prepare china customs declaration application documents
If your buyer/importer has china customs declaration license,the buyer/importer can handle the customs clearance directly; if not, you need to entrust a chinese customs broker to handle the customs clearance process;
China customs e-Port system online pre-declaration (e-edition)
All china importers & most of oversea exporters need be registered at the china customs system, after get the filing record number or ID,  then can login the e-Port system for customs declaration .
Goods shipping to China Port (to Customs supervision warehouse)
Before the customs release, the goods need be stored in the customs supervision warehouse. The storage charge will be more expensive than the ordinary warehouse, so it is necessary to clear the customs as soon as possible.
Customs declaration documents (Paper version) submit and review
Different kind commodities have different customs declaration documents requirements. If they are not enough or do not meet the requirements, the customs declaration application will be rejected;

Import commodity CIQ inspection and quarantine
CIQ will sampling goods for testing, inspection and quarantine, to ensure that the goods meet the requirements of China's safety and quality standards (including Chinese labeling). If can't pass inspection, then can not be released.
Pay China Import Tariffs and Fees
Import tariffs include customs duty, value added tax, consumption tax, etc.
The fees include: customs handle fees, inspection and quarantine fees, port fees, the customs-supervised warehouse fees, etc.;
Customs Goods Batch Check
Check whether the goods are consistent with the declaration documents;
China Customs Release
The Customs issues a customs clearance form for goods, and the goods are allowed to be shipped out of the customs supervision warehouse.

  • Customs Declaration Special Documentations:
    Risky Food Export to China Process
    In China, the imported food is divided into 4 risk levels from low to high : A, B, C, D ; Different levels of supervision are adopted for foods with different risk levels;

    The medium to high risky imported food categories include:Meat products, aquatic products, dairy products, sausage casings, bird nest products, bee products, egg products, edible oils and fats, oilseeds, stuffed wheaten products, edible grains, milled grain industry products and malt, fresh and dehydrated vegetables and dried beans, condiments, nuts and seeds, dried fruits, unroasted coffee beans and cocoa beans, foods for special dietary purposes, and health foods, Animal feed etc.









    In addition to the above-mentioned general food import procedures, the risky imported food also need to go through other government procedures of Manufacturer Registration / Certifcation, Pre-market approval of the product etc.
